What do you do with a BA in English?

If you’re Rachel, you become a doctor with an MBA. Rachel embodies all that a liberal arts education should do. She studied English and Art History at Wellesley, and after graduating took pre-med classes while working in an emergency room and volunteering as a teacher at a prison. She sees how all these things — literature, art, medicine, business — define aspects of the human condition. I have no doubt that she will be a creative physician who sees the many facets of her patients’ problems and cares for the whole person.
